Here’s Hope Church welcomes all to join our traditional Christmas Eve service, The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. The powerful combination of nine short Bible readings (or lessons) paired with the singing of Christmas carols and songs is a beautiful and memorable way to celebrate the Christmas Holiday. The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols started in 1880 England, and shares the story of Jesus’ birth through the broader setting of God’s plan of redemption. Our version features new adaptations of hymns, carols, and songs; while the Scripture readings and prayers remain unchanged. We hope to see you on Christmas Eve, December 24th from 5 – 6 PM at Here’s Hope Church, 725 E. Center Road in Kokomo. Doors will open at 4:30 PM, with cookies and hot cocoa available in our Fellowship Hall.
