SEXUAL IDENTITY, GENDER IDENTITY, AND THE CHRISTIAN FAITH

Dr. Mark Yarhouse, director of the Sexual and Gender Identity Institute at Wheaton College, will be at Real Life Community Church of the Nazarene to address the topic of sexual/gender identity and the Christian faith on Sat, Sept. 24. Through several sessions, attendees will gain insight into the topic of sexual/gender identity in a biblically responsible and missionally meaningful way. Yarhouse is an award-winning teacher, author, researcher and participant with the Ethics and Public Policy Center think tank in Washington, DC. He was named Senior Fellow with the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities. Yarhouse has been a consultant to the National Institute of Corrections, and part of a consensus panel from the American Psychological Association on sexual orientation and gender identity.
